Getrag 240 mated with Stock M20b25

I have the opportunity to purchase a Getrag 240 that was mated with an M52 motor for years without any problems. Ive been reading about how the 240 would need to have its m42 crossmember to be able to link with the M20b25 correctly. The price of the 240 im offered is ridiculously affordable and it comes with a new clutch and all of the shifting linkage and pedal assembly. Who here has experience with swapping the 240 and mating it with a 6cyl?

You will need the pressure plate as well, I'm not completely sure but I think the drive shafts are different lengths too.

Thanks, i read about needing the m42 driveshaft also, I hadnt read about the pressure plate but the transmission has the 240 pressure plate with it already.

Is your car an Auto, are you swapping to 5 speed? If so, do it...but dont go from a 260 to a 240
