    2nd gear grinding

Long story short, reverse light switch backed out and fluid came out of my trans. Drove on low fluid for about 4 days until I fixed it, I could feel the gears becoming hard to shift into and my trans became a lil whiny. It would grind if I downshifted into any gear during these days. Now I've fixed the reverse light switch problem and topped the trans off. Shifts smooth into every gear now except when I rev match hard (at around 50mph, M42 + 4.10 diff) into 2nd gear it grinds. My trans used to be so incredibly smooth prior to this. Is it fucked?

First of all, why are you downshifting into second at 50mph?

Second, your syncros are likely worn. The bigger the difference in rotational speed, the harder it is on the syncros. Try double clutching and see if the grinding goes away. If it does, it's your syncros.
