I have done research but cannot find information on the measurements of the sensor holes on an early Getrag 260 tranny. What's the depth? Size of hole? (I could use an old sensor to size). What's the distance between the flywheel and tip of the sensors, I know it matters but to what degree? Can someone who has a spare do the measurements and get back to me.
I have an old tranny with number 260.0.1044.90. I am currently doing an auto to manual swap and sourcing parts. Instead of buying another tranny I have this spare sitting around and I want to use this tranny for my swap but it doesn't come with holes for the sensors. I have a buddy who works at a machine shop and he could drill/tap the holes for me but he needs to know the measurements.
