Picked up a 1988 325i Auto with 126,000KM on it for $350.. the DCE or DME fuse whatever it's called was blown and it had no spark, and the fuel pump was ghetto rigged and almost blew me up.
Regardless I've got the car running now however it seems like the rear driver side wheel slightly locks.
The car has no problem shifting from drive, to neutral, to reverse however when I place the car in reverse it doesn't start rolling on it's own. I'm forced to give it a little bit of gas to push it and get it rolling.
However once I'm driving forward I don't feel much or any resistance in the rear end.
Keep in mind I haven't had the car over 20km/h so I can't do much testing.
What would be causing this? I can't see it being the tranny because the car has no problem driving in reverse, nor switching gears..
The car has also sat around for 5 - 12 months..
