So my clutch master cylinder is leaking onto the carpet, it looks like its leaking from where the plastic elbow connects into the M/C half way up. The top area near the boot plunger area looks dry.
so what happens here, is it the plastic elbow piece that cracks? or the grommet leaks (i assume its some sort of grommet)?
i can see the hose from reservoir is pushed over the elbow nicely and that part also looks dry.
my clutch M/C was changed about 5 years ago or so, im hoping its just the plastic elbow piece and i dont need a new M/C but the issue is i wont know until i pull it out which is a PITA.
