Auto Tranny Upgrade ??????????

Not sure if this question makes sense but is there any BMW OEM automatic tranny that can be swapped for the OEM E30 auto tranny?

I am thinking to swap my OEM E30 tranny for one that has P...R...N....D. Eliminating gear 1 and 2. For some reason I'm thinking I would have more torque with a modded auto tranny.

Can the E30 automatic tranny be rebuilt to what I am looking for?

I have an extra e30 auto tranny that I can get bench modded. I just want to know if my idea is possible.

Convert to manual. No point in going through all that hard work and money for an auto.
