4.10 LSD Whine.

I have a '91 318is with a 325 4.10 LSD in it and I recently put a poly solid body bushing on it, put new fluid in it, and replaced the cover gasket.

It now has this whine sound coming from it, that didn't exist before and it showed up immediately after the change.

Has anyone experienced the whine sound after the poly bushing was installed or is my diff in need of a re-build?

The poly bushing would be better at coupling the noise into the body. The whine has probably been there for a while and you need to rebuild or replace the diff.
