driveshaft wobble after 5 speed swap *help*

Guys... this is really starting to piss me off.

I completed a 5 speed swap on my car a few weeks ago. All went well except this f(*^&@*#&@!!! wobble around 20mph, it's usually right when i come out of first gear and into 2nd. I've played with the CSB 4 times now trying to see if it makes a difference to no avail Something interesting is that i preloaded the CSB by pushing it towards the front of car 1mm. After the 1mm i run out of space on the rails... is this my problem somehow? is my whole setup sitting wrong?. I have a new CSB, new guibo and i mated the rear auto driveshaft to a front 5 speed shaft trying to keep the weights close to their position as possible.

Anyone had this before, any insight? Remember it's not a vibration.. its a wobble.. feels like there isn't even a Center support bearing down there!

    Thanks
    Julien

2-pice drive shafts are balaced as one assembly so your rear auto section is not balanced to the 5sp section.

You need a new drive shaft.

Puting the 5spd back half back to the front half wont work because you didnt mark it befor taking it apart.

Save your self the time and get a new shaft.

Or he could just put the joints opposite. Like if the front has the joints horizontal, then you put the rear shafts joints verticle. If it wobbles, then take it out and turn one of them over 180 degrees.

call me crazy, but why not just take it to a driveline shop and have them balance them?

call me crazier, but why didn't you just use a rear manual half of the driveshaft too?

Good luck finding a drive shaft shop to balance your 2 pice drive shaft.
