I am looking to convert to a 4.10 LSD rear differential. Which vehicles are proper donors of this unit? I have read that automatic cars are likely to have the 4.10. What about E36 cars? Will those rear ends bolt up? Forgive the lack of knowledge, I am a Honda/Acura convert.

Just as a side note, I have a medium case 4.10LSD in my car right now that I will be pulling before too long. PM me if you're interested. What it feels like owning an e30:

Automatic e30 325is and some verts (I think) had 4.10 diffs. The e30 318is also had a 4.10 with LSD as an option, but they are small case diffs. They will fit, but aren't built for as much power. E36 diffs will not fit (except 318ti's, which are also small case.)
