Can you use a LSD form a e28 528i in E30?

Can you put a mediam case 3.46 Lsd from a e28 528i in my e30 320i (m50ed)?
I've being trying to find a Lsd for a e30 down here in New Zealand and can't find shet....

you sure can - just swap the rear cover and output flanges with those from your e30 diff :)

I think those actually have the good ratios for the m/s5x swaps around 3.25. I'm still looking for one
