S2.79 diff, what fluid?

Googled and searched the crap out of this. Two answers I'm seeing are either 75w90 or 75w140.

Tag on my diff is "S2.79". I've read of people putting 90 in it and others putting 140 in. Both camps swearing not to use the opposite weight.

I'm not tracking this car. It's my daily driver.

Can I get an end all answer to this? First time changing it out.

Either should be fine. Just make sure its a high quality fluid containing additives for LSD diffs (Redline, Lucas, Royal Purple, Motul, etc.)

Hey thanks for the input. I put some higher end 75w140 in it. Good to go.
