Having a hard time with the new shifter

I recently purchase a z4 shifter installed it wasn't hard before I installed I
Lubed it up and out everything back to the way it was and my shifter already has a bend so I figured it won't be hitting anything but it sounds like it's touching the driveshaft or something is because it wasn't doing that with the stock shifter
And it's super stiff when I shift into all the gears. Please any help on this would love to get this done already

That's common problem if you have the round piece around you driveshaft under the shifter assembly. And also with the z3 shifter I have noticed shifts are much stiffer than the stock one.
