    m42 clutch DIY

anyone have a write up? is it a DIY? i got the base hobby shop( lift, power tools, etc). does any clutch alighment work?

Its probably the easiest clutch I have ever done. The starter bolts can be a bitch but I found loosening them from the top was the easiest. Honestly getting the exhuast out of the way is the hardest part if its all rusty, the rest is just nuts and bolts.

The starter bolts will come out no problem, its a little tight on the hands though. Soak the lower exhuast flange in some sort of penetrating fluid IE: PB Blaster, JB 80 or Honda Lube. Let it sit for a couple hours and then gently turn them. Have extra copper hardware ready in case you break the old ones.
