    the 4.10lsd from the auto 325i (including verts) is the exact same diff (same part#'s) as the e30 m3 diff.

    Euro spec 320i, 323i and 324d had small case diff's, whilw 324td has big.

    Yes, the m3 is the exception. It needed the beefier diff to handle the extra power.

    As long as it's 6 cylinder, it's larger case and good. 318's have small case LSD's, which are useless.

    BTW, automatic iS's came with 4.10 LSD's from '88 and up.

    i did some searching but couldnt find the answer, perhaps i'm just bad at searching...


    but is there any difference between an e30 m3 4.10 lsd and any other 4.10 lsd from e30's (i.e. convertable, 318?, etc..)
