Does anyone know if I can use an E36 automatic on an E30 M20? Its just a cruising car and really have no use for the manual. It would be nice to have that 5th gear though.
Doing a bunch of research now. the 5HP18 ZF tranny is used on the E36 320i and M3 mated to the M50/S50 engines. Can I mate this to the M20 and what other electronics I might need to harvest from the donor car?
