    Shift Selector Rod Length

Curious what the length of the 318i shift selector rod is. I have a 325, and have ordered both selector rod options avaiable for the 325 and neither fit right(prongs are not staggered, or its too short horizontally). Doing some guessing, based on the pictures, it seems that the 318i M10 gear selector rod (25111220501) would fit just right.
    325i Length: 20.5cm
    Rod currently in car: 23.5cm
    318i Length: 28cm

Any chance you want to measure what your perfect length would be. Ship it to me, I'll weld it up and ship it back. All free of charge.

It would be my pleasure to help out. I've been on R3v for a while.

Was doing a dssr upgrade on my 85 e30 m10. Found the rod length short. Do rod length matter or drill new holes in the sheet???
