    1990 325i diff in 1987?

I got a 1990 325i parts car a while ago, and turns out it has a 4.10 lsd. I plan on putting it into my 1987 325 (with a 2.93) Will this be a direct bolt in? I heard some diffs have smaller housings than others. I just spent 4 hours getting the 4.10 out, so I really hope it fits the 1987.

    Thanks

It will fit directly. I would NOT recommend putting a 4.10 in your car though. Highway rpms will be way high and 1st gear will be useless. Try finding a 3.25lsd for the 325e.
