    Full Lock Up

i'm quite positve my LSD is no longer limited slip, it's no slip, and doesn't it bind up hard around corners, what could be the cause / fix for this other then the obvious diff replacement, i have 2 parts cars but i'd rather not run 4:10's

Im not sure what exactly your options for rebuilding the diff, I know its possible. Your best bet is to find another 3.73 really... They arnt that super spendy.

There are a few shops out there that will rebuild one for you.

Diffsunlimited and Metric Mechanics come to mind.

If you are mechanically inclined, and you have a spare LSD lying around you can order LSD clutch plates from Bimmerworld. You can even choose what percentage lock-up you want. Then you can install the plates yourself, and save yourself a shitload on your car insurance.

It's not as difficult as you would imagine, you don't have to reset backlash or make any adjustments since you are only replacing the packs in the differential. Just be brave, look up torque specs and just take your time.
