    Transmission Swap DIY?

I did a search a few times and all I have come up with is parts lists. I am looking for a DIY write up on the swap. I have all the parts thanks to Schneller 3er, and plan on doing the swap on my week off between Christmas and New Years. I've got a lift and all the basic tools I could need, so things should go fairly smoothly, but I have no clue what I'm doing in detail. I have a vauge idea, but a write up would deffinitely help out alot. Is there one on another site, or a thread on this forum or a book or anything I can get that would help me with this? I have the bentley but I dont think they cover swaps. :-P

    Cheers,

Brian, it is plenty easy....goes just like a normal trans swap, with the additional of the clutch master/slaves and pedaltry. It is pretty straight forward. :)

          It is now.....

Just make sure you have all the parts to the new tranny of course. I don't think you even need help with a write up it's that easy.

Ok, just checking - I was afraid it meant pedarastic adultery or something . . .

Well I think I have everything but I will know for sure next week when I start the swap. I found a good write up burried on the forum but it lacked all the pictures. I think between that, and my bentley, I can get it done. I will be sure to take pictures so there will hopefully be a good write up for people doing this in the future. It's nice to have something to fall back on. I'm not to worried though. Half the time people ask me to do stuff at work, I have never done it before and it ends up going just fine. We're removing the front clam on my friends Elise on sat to replace the radiator. It should be interesting. I have quite the week ahead of me.
