How much green depends on how much damage and who does the work. Damage can range from just a bad gasket through a cracked head that must be replaced to engine damage from coolant displacing oil. If the oil is clean (no milky emulsion) the picture is a bit brighter, but the full extend of the cost won't be known until the head is off.The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Chances are is it's over heated even once, it's cracked. i heads are very touchy about heat. Around $500-600.00 for a rebuilt head properly done.Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.
