I believe that is a Getrag 262The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

found on the internet that some m3's had 262's. Instead of 265. Different ratio than the m535. Instead the 262 on the m3sport was a dogleg close ratio 5-speed.
Just infering from a couple internet snippets, haven't found a definitive article on that.Comment
