e36 differential in 86 325e?

will a 3.15lsd from a e36 m3 work in my 1986 325e? and i did search and could no find anyinfo on the 3.15lsd. any help is appreciated.

No. You need a LSD from an e30 or e28/e24 with some parts swapped from a e30 diff.

Just a update, just picked up a 3.25 lsd from a 5 series (fits E30/E24/E28)
I paid $280 shipped from cali to VA, is that a good price?
