    Are all 3.25 differentials LSD?

I'm thinking about picking up a 3.25 differential for the eta. Are ALL the 3.25 diffs found in the e28 LSDs?

(And no, I haven't even made it back from California yet.)

Righton. I'm guessing I should expect to pay 2x the price for a LSD over an open, then.

well I wouldn't pay any more than $250 w/o shipping for a 3.25 LSD. I want to get one in the near future myself.

3.25 diffs go for a little more than a 3.73 but not that much more. About the same as a big 4.10. I think i payed 300 shipped for mine.

No they're not all limited slip and a 3.25 isn't worth more than a 3.73, and a 4.10 will fetch a ton more than either. They're only worth a damn to us DOHC guys, to the rest of the E30/E28/E24 world, they're the most useless thing next to the 2.93. With the tiniest bit of patience they can be found for around 170 on ebay (in Cali too). Give it a week or two, another couple will pop up.

EDIT: Actually I take it back, I don't know if all E28's are LSD... I assumed they all come from E28/E24s but the open 3.25 on ebay is an E30 diff.
