    Shifter pivot cup removal tool

I had one and, of course, I can't find it anywhere... it's the little thin socket like tool to remove the nylon pivot bushing/cup the shifter sits in. I'm replacing the clutch and i need to also replace the all the shifter linkage parts, including the pivot bushing, and i can't find the stupid tool. So, I want to buy a new one, and can't find it anywhere.. any ideas? thanks

Use some needle nose pliers. Works just fine.

Once you have the shifter support out of the car it's trivial. Just push in the tabs from the side with a screwdriver. You don't need to turn the white nylon piece at all to remove it. You'll see once it's out of the car.

I didn't know there was accually a special tool for removing that. I have used the two-screwdriver method and the needle nosed plier method to remove mine.
