Ill effects from removing vibration damper?

It is rubbing my shift rod and a local swapper/club member said to take it off that it won't hurt anything.

Didn't know we had posts about the same thing... If you take it off and it's still in good/like new condition will you sell it? I'm looking to buy one. Will post WTB shortly....

It's been rubbing my shifter for about a 2 weeks/100miles.

bend your selector rod of take it off
Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.

I did bend the rod when I was putting the M50 in but it still rubs and sometimes causes it to pop out of gear in first on take offs.

              bend it more.

It is not a pleasant feeling at 100mph with no vibration damper.

Well I took it off, swapped in the LSD, and now there is a clunk on take offs. My CSB and guibo are brand new....I'm thinking the new stress on the axles from the LSD put them 1 toke over the line.
