How do I torque down the new guibo?

I don't want to ruin the drive-shaft by gripping it in a vice, so what's the proper way to torque down the 3 bolts? I can't apply 40 or 50 ft-lbs just by having someone hold on to it.

Put the car in gear and pull the hand brake while you are tightening each bolt.

it was off the car, so that's be difficult... so, i connected my impact gun, and went to town on it. if something bad happens, i can only blame myself.

I can't see the problem here. You use a wrench or socket on the bolt head and the torque wrench on the nut.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
