Ok.. so im thinking about getting the z4 2.5 ssk and im wondering what ill need if i wanna replace all the bushings and messed up parts of the linkage. Pelican parts has a whole shift bushing kit as well as a bunch of parts for the linkage. Is all of that necessary?

I'm looking into doing the same thing, just without installing a SSK. My shifter is so sloppy you can move it around almost the entire thing if it's in gear, and finding gears seems to be based on luck.
Is there a list of all the bushings and other stuff you need to replace all these parts?

the pelican parts kit is good. make sure to get a couple clips for the shift rod too, as those aren't included. i just installed all that stuff along with a z3 shifter and i love it.Comment
