    chipped flywheel teeth

I have a single mass flywheel and there are about 3-4 chipped teeth. The teeth aren't totaly broken off but the corners are chipped off. Will this affect it in anyway?

If only the corners are chipped and most of the teeth are intact the flywheel will work. But if the starter hits that area as it engages additional damage to the flywheel and pinion gear is possible. If pulling the transmission sometime later to replace the flywheel and replacing the starter isn't objectionable you can us this flywheel. Otherwise I'd say to replace it.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
