1988 528 SuperETA manual tranny on 1990 325i Auto

Will the tranny from the 528 bolt up to the 325i without issue? becasue mines is auto and i want 5spd. Also, if so what are the gears like on it? thanks

The gears are round and have little teeth on them that fit into other gears.

Nothing ever bolts up without issue, but yes you can make that work.

I didnt mean without issues like drop in and go. I just need to make sure the trans fits. But i donno if its gonna be good with the 4.1 rear from the auto..

The ratios are the same.

LSD = both tires spin
