    Solid guibo replacement

This is just a theoretical question at this point. Does anybody make a solid guibo out of metal to replace the rubber mount ? I understand there is going to be more vibration and possibly result in a louder car but it wouldn't hurt anything to actually run a solid flex disc would it ?

Think race application where a lot of stress is on the drivetrain, it would seem like it would be a weak link or does that weak link provide just enough "cushion" for something else not to break ?

Unless you've done something really significant in the engine bay, there's not going to be enough power transmitted through the guibo to justify an "upgraded part". And if the engine bay has seen that massive an upgrade you probably wouldn't be using a BMW transmission & driveshaft...
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
