Finally completed my M20 Flywheel Conversion

So the car runs, and everything is as it should be.

It feels more alive, its great!

Now here's my question...shifting through gears has become quite notchy.

I changed the shifter bushing while I was doing the job, do you guys thing this bushing is contributing to the notchiness?

What if the tranny is slightly mis-aligned, do you guys think the selector rod may be under some stress, therefore making it harder to shift?

The car shifts fine into 3rd and 4th, the other gears are pretty notchty.

Oh and the lever is a Z3 1.9l

I could see the bushings making the shifter feel notchier. It is impossible for the trans to be mis alighned.
