a few weeks back, i replaced that little plastic elbow that goes from the brake fluid res into the clutch master.
it was cracked, and was leaking fluid into the car. messy as shit. gross.
it was working great for a few days, but i noticed that my brake fluid level keeps dropping down, gradually.. before, it was all at once, like it was just dumping into the driver's footwell.
now it's disappearing slowly, and i'm losing clutch pedal pressure.. every few minutes, i have to grab the edge of the pedal with my foot, and lift it up, and that restores the clutch power for another few minutes.
i assume that since that little elbow was broken, and thus removed, i now need to bleed the clutch.
BUT, would not bleeding it cause air to feed back up into the res, forcing the fluid out of the cap?
