All for x5X motors, 5spd?, autotragic?, and what ever 6spd works? A link would be just fine if no one knows off the top of their head the weights of these trannies.

Are you trying to gauge if there'd be any weight savings over going with one box over another?
I can't imagine a ZF 320 and Getrag 250 weigh more than 60 - 70 lbs.

Yes and no. I am thinking of putting an s52 in my e34 and want a high overdive gear for lots of highway driving. If the 5spd and the 6spd are olny about 20-30 lbs difference and the overdive is about the same ratio I will go with the 6spd, just to be different.
