First gear gone??

Okay from when i first bought my car until yesterday my first gear seemed alittle rough but not bad...the clutch is replaced, flywheel re-done, new top end but today my first gear sucked ass. I back out of my driveway, put it in first and my car starts stuttering and stalls. Takes awhile to start again and i went, when i was leaving where i was is pulls the same shit stutters moving really slow...so i pop it into secong i i start going. Is my first gear gone possibly?

doesn't sound like a tranny problem.......sounds like you may need to work on clutch release

The clutch release bearing or are you implying my driving and if so for the first thing, for first gear only?... i dont think thats the problem.

Sounds like a problem with the engine to me (poor low rpm operation). An intake, bad plugs/wires, bad AFM, aged O2 sensor, etc could be causes.

Thanks Jlevie, im thinking either the AFM or the O2 especially considering my exhaust stink... some people just dont know anything about cars i guess ^^...he must be a tech or something.
