    PP/clutch queston...

-Ok, I own an '89 325i auto, and I may be picking up an '86 5-spd eta here soon for cheep. I would like to swap the 5-spd into the 89. The eta has a NEW clutch and PP... could they be used on an b25 man. flywheel (which I have yet to buy)?

-Oh and I may swap the auto into the eta. Any ideas here?

I think the flywheels are different. Something about single and dual mass. Don't ask me what that means.

Some year model eta's had a single mass flywheel, but I"m not sure if it is the same as the i flywheel. Someone should chime in and know.

You might cross reference the part numbers for the clutch on realoem and see if they are the same. If they are the same part numbers, then it should work.

-OK thanks. I know I need an "i" flywheel, I just wanted to know if the clutch and PP will work.
