This is what you have to take off to get at the output shaft seal, it is in the middle of the guibo mount. It looks like a really weird size nut, like a 30mm thin-wall deep socket. Does anyone know for sure what is is? And where can I find a socket like this?

30mm nut. Thin-wall is your friend, or a grinder. -
a buddy of mine was tryn to get that nut off, he tried everything, wouldnt even budge. it must be on there with like 300+ft/lbs torque...IG: @Baye30

It's superior German engineering. They could have made the opening just a little bigger and the end of the shaft just a little shorter, but noo..., then it wouldn't require a special socket or grinding down an otherwise perfectly good one and then finding out it's also too short.

I bought a 30mm socket from Schucks, and grinded the sucker down. Used the impact gun, and off it went.- Sean HayesComment

The nut on my trans came right off (I did use an impact). My brother's refused to budge.
