also i have a stock driveshaft from my 89' 325i, and i was wondering if the 325i driveshaft would fit in the 91' 318iS?
    -thanks

Check the centering bushing at the tip of the driveshaft at the guibo, and the flex disc for cracks.
Are the white dots on the d/s sections lined up?
      how are trans mounts?

When a center bearing fails the cause is almost always binding drive shaft u-joints. A new bearing may work for a while but the bad drive shaft will cause early failure of the center bearing. The only fix is a new or rebuilt drive shaft.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
