I need a new clutch for my 9/87 325 IX. I no sachs has one but i want to know who else has one that would be good. I autocross the car so I am constatly launching it. Any recomendations? My stock one lasted 5 autocrosses, a drive to VA, 4 ppl learning how to drive and 167,000 miles with I have no idea how many clutch drops. I will be doing mods and hoping to have around 250 hp NA. Any recomendations? thanks.

The stock clutch is pretty sturdy but may not be up to track use or increased power. Higher performance clutches are available but I don't think I'd want to go beyond a stage 1 on a daily driver. Bimmerworld has ClutchMasters kits and they work well. I have a Clutmasters Stage 1 on my track rat and my M3. It is a bit more crisp than a stock clutch, but not hard to drive on the street. The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
