Alright I am going to log everything I do to Donna, from making her an auto to a 5spd.
So over the past weekend, Yoshi and I have pulled the entire transmission, rear end, drive shaft, clutch, flywheel, clutch lines, master cylinder, clutch pedal, brake pedal and I think thats about it.
My goal is to have it done by the next week or so.
So here's where I start:
Dec. 3rd, 2007
I ordered a Spec stage 1 clutch, and guibo from BMW of Sterling. I swapped the brake pedal and clutch pedal over to Donna. It took about 30mins or so. All I had to do was remove 6 bolts that hold the pedal supports up, and install the 2 pedals. It wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. I also got Cletus (4dr) towed over Yoshi's house, because Yoshi will be the new owner. I also delivered the 3.73 rear end and axles over to him. In return he is going to give me his 4.10 diff. In total today, I spent about $380 down.
Tomorrow, I hope to have the master cylinder in, and to order the shift linkage bushings and maybe a short shifter and to have the flywheel re-machined. I am waiting on the clutch to get in so I can have everything ready soon to be thrown into the car.
Well thats about it for today. Thanks for reading.
Dec. 5th, 2007
I ordered some parts from KO Performance today. Z3 1.9L shifter, shift linkage bushings, and UUC transmission bushings (I think) for $92.50. The Spec stage 1 clutch came in today, and I sent the flywheel out for remachining. I got it remachined for $50 and it will be done tomorrow. So hopefully I will start and finish the transmission install with Yoshi Friday night or Saturday morning. That should be about all I did today. I will update more with pictures and such soon. Yay!

Haven't received my shifter stuff, but Yoshi and I threw the transmission in last night. I got to park the vehicle this morning. It's awesome... Binding a little bit, but I'll figure it out later. Yay!
