    Spec Stage 1 Clutch Questions.

Alright, as some of you may already know, Yoshi and I did a 5spd swap in Donna. Well at the same time, I also installed a new clutch, throw out bearing, pilot bearing, and pressure plate.

Right now I am in the process of 'breaking in the clutch'. Well my 1st question is ... the clutch seems to catch very high, and the system is a hydraulic system, so how would you go about adjusting the clutch catching point? I think I am going to try to bleed the clutch line again and see what happens.

The 2nd question is... when starting out, I noticed that the vehicle feels like it's binding up. Like something is pushing against it when I go forward or in reverse?

I haven't had time to take a look at it, just trying to see if anybody has an idea.

    Thanks for reading!

a new clutch should engage/disengage close to the top of the pedal travel. As the clutch wears that point moves closer to the floor. So it doesn't sound like anything is wrong.

As to the second question, have a good look at the brake calipers and parking brake adjustment. You could have a binding caliper piston or mis-adjusted/broken parking brake.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

You can try and turn the bolt that connects the pedal to the master cylinder. It will only allow you to adjust 5mm or so.
