    squealing sound

I have a 1990 e30 cabrio, recently i have changed the CSB and ever since i have had a really bad squealing noise coming from what sounds like the drive shaft or transmission. I first i thought i was that dust guard that the protects the CSB cause it was lose so i took the drive shaft off again and replaced it and now it is snug but it is still making this noise. the best way to describe it is the sound changes pitches and is speed dependent. sometimes making lots of noise other times not making any. Thank you for your help.

Get the car on a lift and spin the wheels in 5th gear. The source of the noise should then be pretty obvious.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Hit the CSB with some silicone spray. That should quiet it if it is the dust guard. If not, it could be the CSB itself. You should've pressed only the inner race. If you pressed anywhere else you could've damaged the bearing.
