Trans stuck in revese help??

So I went to pick up the car from the buyer and the car was stuck in reverse, but worked fine the night before. Any Ideas??

Mine did the exact same thing. I picked it up and drove it 60+ miles home and then backed it in the driveway. It's stuck in reverse now.

Have you taken it apart ? Any clues? Mine is still stuck in Chicagoland.

I messed around with the shifter, my bushings were totally shot. I replaced some of them thinking that would help but it didn't, still stuck. I bought a used trans I'm waiting for it to arrive. I just assume that the trans is screwed.

Ok got the car still stuck in reverse, we think is internal, any other ideas?

Try jacking it on all 4's to relieve the load. Make sure u have full fluid in tranny. rotate wheels forward and backward as much as poss. Pull the piss out of it. If no luck buy a tranny.

Bump. Just wondering whether any of you guys found a fix or if its terminal. Also, if you replaced the tranny, was there any problem with the clutch, or was it fine?
