    higher rpms at 60

i have two friends that have stock e30s just like my 325e, my speed ometer is slow and i wasnt sure how fast i was going so one of my friends stayed right beside me on the highway and he said we where doing 60mph, but i was turning 2000rpms and he was only turning 1600rpms, so i had my other friend stay right beside me at 60mph and once again i was turning 2000rpms, and he was only turning 1600rpms, i think thay have the same rearend gears mine is an 87 325e and theres is an 85 325e and an 86 325e they are all, 5 speeds.

what could be my problem, tell me what ur cars rpm is at 60mph

You could do the math on it, but they probably have 2.79 rears vs. your 2.93. You could look at the diff tags...
