    Clutch Pedal

My clutch pedal is REALLY soft and I don't know the last time any work was done on the clutch, is there any way to figure out if I need a whole new clutch kit I.E. Flywheel and such or should I only need a new pressure plate?

Just to throw this out, is the clutch slipping at all? Have you looked at your master/slave cylinders for leaks? Tried bleeding them?

    Also, mileage on vehicle?

Mileage is about 207k, there isn't any slipping yet but I'll definitely check for leaks. Sometimes in the morning when the clutch is cold and I put it into first gear it grinds really quick. Is that normal?

Other than evidence of the clutch slipping, the only way to judge the condition of the clutch & flywheel is to inspect the parts once they are out of the car. A single-mass can be resurfaced, but it usually makes little sense to only replace the pressure plate during a clutch job. The bulk of the labor is in removing and replacing the transmission, so it is best to deal with all of the clutch parts while the tranny is out (flywheel, pilot bearing, rear main seal, pressure plate, clutch disk, and throwout bearing).
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
