so when i bought my 89 325i i knew it would need a clutch sooner rather than later. as the clutch got worse it got harder to put it into gear. just after starting the car not while i drive it around. if i leave the car in gear when i park it i have no problems at all but its when i leave it in neutral then it will not go into 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th but it still goes into 5th, once i put it into 5th then it goes right into 1st no problem. I have been told it may be my syncros in my tranny but i was also told it may be my clutch causing this. what do you guys think? do you think it was a coincidence that both clutch and syncros are going at the same time or would a bad clutch cause this? oh yeah my clutch hasn't started slipping yet but the pedal is basically at the top when i bites. anybody have this problem before?
