I found a good deal on a 1992 325i automatic transmission, does anyone know if this will work on a auto 1992 525i? They both have the same engine, the M50. Part numbers do not cross in Realoem though, each car has different P/N on their transmissions.

Don't quote me on this, but I THINK the output flanges (and splines are different) This bit me once on an 89 525i (M20 though)
Either way just check to be safe.
