The flex disc/ guibo in my car is taking a shit fast. I need to know which one I need though. My car is an 87 325is but my trans. is out of a 86 325e. The guy who put in my transmission when I bought the car didn't mention anything about switching anything around. Is it safe to assume I can just order one for an 87 325is? Anyone have a parts number handy? Thanks,

heres a good link for you:

6/86 was the crossover for E transmissions to the larger output flange and guibo. The i cars require the smaller output flange and guibo. So either your car has an early 86 transmission with the smaller guibo, or he swapped output flanges when he did the transmission install.
Best thing would be to get the vin number off of the transmission and find out which month it was manufactured. your going to have to order your guibo accordingly.Comment
