install dogleg gearbox from 323i 86 bmw in s50 us

could it be make? does the dogleg can handle the amount of power? and most important can be adapted?

The 323 has the same engine as the 325i, only a little smaller. I would think that the transmission bolt pattern is the same as the ones on the 325i, so it should work. You would have the same issues as people doing the s50 swap into 325i and keeping the stock transmission. Are you sure it's a dogleg tranny? Is first gear in the down and left position?
