    driveshaft wont spin?

My driveshaft spins when the clutch is pushed in. But not when it is just in neutral.

What would be the cause of this?

Center Support Bearing = fucked, new one comes in Friday the 12th

Short shifter kit was installed before I got the car.

Could be transmission issues as well.

    any comments?

with the driveshaft off and clutch not pushed in, the differential spins easily

but the prop shaft spins inconsistantly with rough and smooth patches

    WTF?!!??!

In almost all cases, a failure of the CSB will be caused by binding u-joints in the drive shaft. Meaning that a replacement drive shft is required, else the new CSB will have a short life. The roughness you describe suggests a binding drive shaft.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
