If you have done the 2.5 Z4 Shift Lever, I have a Q

I heard that some guys had to bend the selector rod.

How much did you bend it? And which way?

I did, and I didn't.

It is a bit forward from stock, but certainly liveable, and does not hit anything.

Some cars have the balancer around the guibo and it's rubs on it in 4th gear. There is a good DIY page somewhere in this forum whichs shows you where to bent and how. I had to bent mine slightly. I have the Z4 3.0 ssk

holy hell. so the shifter is in. the throws are very notchy. i don't mind that at all. i just can't get over the fact that the throws are less than 2".
